Tribute to Nino Rota

This week I'd like to pay tribute to one of my favorite film composers, Nino Rota who worked with Fellini scoring a number of his feature films. I've always thought that Danny Elfman took inspiration from Rota for his Pee Wee Herman scores which are similar to those circus - like arrangements and instrumentation in such movie classics like "8 1/2" and "Amarcord", scored by Nino Rota long before he wrote the theme to Godfather I. Rota also scored La Dolce Vita, portions of Godfather II and other films that are considered classics. Enjoy!
